About
Dr. Scott Andochick is a dedicated plastic surgeon who also channels his problem-solving skills into invention. Balancing a demanding surgical practice focused on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, particularly for breast cancer patients, Dr. Andochick brings a unique perspective to innovation.
Drawing upon his surgical training, where meticulous planning and contingency strategies are paramount, Dr. Andochick applies this same rigorous approach to his inventions. Just as a surgeon prepares Plans A, B, and C, along with a “lifeboat,” Dr. Andochick thoughtfully develops and refines his creations.

“The concept for my water bag emerged from witnessing the immediate aftermath of natural disasters, both domestically and internationally. These events often leave individuals displaced and without access to essential resources like food, water, and electricity.
I observed that in the United States, initial aid often involves the distribution of numerous individual water bottles, limited by what people can physically carry.
In developing nations, I saw the arduous journeys undertaken by families, especially women and children, who often walk long distances to obtain fresh water, only to face the challenge of carrying heavy buckets back home.
My primary goal was to create a cost-effective and reusable solution for transporting significant quantities of water in a comfortable manner.
After considerable experimentation and refinement, this vision culminated in the water tube now known as WaterBagNow.”
